Presents AI acceleration strategies centered around Elice AI PMDC at ‘Elice IMPACT: Empowering AI’
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, AI education solution company Elice, Inc. (CEO Jae Won Kim) aims to accelerate the construction of AI infrastructure centered on its modular data center ‘Elice AI PMDC’ to maximize AI competitiveness for domestic and international enterprises, schools, and government agencies under the slogan ‘Empowering AI’.
At a press conference titled ‘Elice IMPACT: Empowering AI’ held in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 28th, Elice, Inc. introduced the Elice AI ecosystem, which will leverage synergies based on the Elice AI PMDC.
Elice, Inc. CEO Jae Won Kim, as the presenter, explained, “The adoption of generative AI is rapidly increasing in government, enterprises, and schools, and the demand for quality AI education is growing quickly. To meet these needs, Elice, Inc. has structured an AI ecosystem where AI infrastructure, platforms, models, and content are organically connected.”
Introducing AI PMDC Business Models Tailored to Enterprise Demand, Including NVIDIA’s Latest GPU B200
The high-performance GPU and NPU service ‘Elice Cloud’ based on AI PMDC has been actively utilized by numerous startups and university research facilities since its launch in 2023, and it was recognized last year as an excellent CSP company for its contribution to revitalizing the domestic SaaS industry.
Starting this year, Elice, Inc. plans to lead enterprise AI adoption by adding a business model that provides customized AI cloud as an integrated IaaS service, including AI PMDC, servers, and AI cloud platforms. Depending on the demand of each enterprise seeking to adopt AI, it offers customized AI PMDCs that can be equipped with the latest NVIDIA GPUs B200, H200, and domestic NPUs. These can be designed and constructed within approximately four months and offer cloud services to clients, making them useful for companies looking to adopt AI quickly and efficiently.
CEO Jae Won Kim emphasized, “We will target the public sector, which faces difficulties in utilizing AI due to concerns about security and safety, by centralizing our efforts on high-security AI PMDCs.” Elice, Inc. obtained the CSAP SaaS standard grade and international information security certifications ISO27001 and 27701 last year, and in February this year, it became the first to acquire CSAP IaaS certification with AI PMDC. This proves its domestic and international reliability regarding security and paves the way for expansion into various sectors of domestic enterprises and public fields, including education, finance, and healthcare.
Moreover, as a modular data center that can be physically isolated, AI PMDC can safely protect sensitive data in public education and technology-based industries. Elice, Inc. intends to expand its presence in the public education cloud business, starting with the introduction of infrastructure for the developing AI digital textbook.
AI Model Library and Korean-Specific AI Model Optimized for Domestic Enterprise AI Adoption
The AI model library allows the use of various world-class AI models with one click, without separate installation. By providing diverse AI functions such as large language models (LLM), visual question answering (VQA), and text-to-speech (TTS) as application program interfaces (APIs), it reduces development burdens for companies pursuing AI transformation.
Elice, Inc. also unveiled four new generative AI models: △Helpy Edu △Helpy Pro △Helpy Reasoning △Helpy-V Reasoning. ‘Helpy Edu’ is a text LLM optimized for educational environments, providing safe and reliable responses with hallucination suppression and profanity filter functions. ‘Helpy Pro’ is a general-purpose text LLM for business purposes, with strengths in Korean context understanding and mixed language processing in English and Korean. ‘Helpy Reasoning’ is a deep reasoning text LLM excellent at solving logical problems and math puzzles.
‘Helpy-V Reasoning’ is a multimodal VQA model capable of understanding and responding to various images. It achieved the world’s best performance in the benchmark of multilingual text-centric VQA (MTVQA) in Korean and Vietnamese, a task considered highly challenging. It also recorded high performance exceeding global big tech AI models in other languages.
The advanced AI models developed by Elice, Inc. are currently creating innovation cases in the public education sector. A representative example is a multi-agent safe AI chatbot composed of a profanity moderator, fact-checker, and tone modification agent considering student age groups. This model has acquired knowledge of Korean history and culture from the National Institute of Korean History and is currently applied as an AI chatbot in the middle school information AI digital textbook developed and certified by Elice, Inc.

Elice and SKT Sign MOU to Jointly Develop Next-Generation AI DC and Solutions
Collaboration to jointly build AI data center infrastructure and jointly develop solutions
Elice, Inc. (CEO Jae Won Kim), an AI education solution company, and SK Telecom (CEO Ryu Young-sang) signed a business agreement on ‘AI data center technology cooperation and business joint promotion’ at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.
Based on the Elice AI PMDC, a modular data center, Elice, Inc. has built an AI-specific cloud infrastructure and systematically provides AI services for AI education and research.
In particular, in February, Elice AI PMDC became the first AI PMDC in Korea to obtain the Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), which is a requirement to provide safe and reliable cloud services to governments and public institutions. CSAP is a security certification system that private companies must obtain in order to provide cloud services to government and public organizations, and requires a rigorous audit process. Elice has proven the high stability of its self-built cloud environment by obtaining the SaaS standard grade for Elice LXP in 2024 and now the IaaS certification.
SKT is strengthening its business capabilities in the AI data center total solution market. Its strategy is to accelerate the construction of the ‘AI Infra Super Highway’ by upgrading to a comprehensive solution business that meets the needs of various types of AI data centers.
Plan to utilize Elice AI PMDC to agilely respond to the growing demand for AI
SKT decided to collaborate with Elice because it can independently develop AI services and cloud software, as well as small-scale AI data center infrastructure and hardware. With this agreement, the two companies will strengthen their cooperation by jointly building AI data center infrastructure and jointly developing solutions.
First, they plan to discuss a business structure that will enable customers who want to apply AI services to industrial sites quickly and with less cost burden. We will create a PMDC testbed that combines the two companies’ AI data center technologies so that customers can quickly start their business with the Elice AI PMDC and expand the scale of the facility by adding larger capacity AI data centers in parallel to meet growing demand.
Creating synergy through technology cooperation related to data center and infrastructure from a sovereign AI perspective
In addition, the two companies plan to create synergies through technology collaboration and contribute to the growth of the domestic AI ecosystem from the perspective of ‘sovereign AI’, where the importance of national data and infrastructure is emphasized by each country.

Elice Cloud, Korea's first AI PMDC to receive CSAP IaaS certification
AI PMDC developed with Elice’ own technology proves safety and reliability
Elice, Inc.’s (CEO Kim Jae-Won) AI specialized cloud, Elice Cloud, has become the first AI PMDC in Korea to obtain the Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) type.
CSAP is a security certification system that private companies must obtain in order to provide cloud services to national and public organizations. The IaaS type of security certification requires compliance with 116 control items in 14 fields.
Entering the public cloud market in earnest, starting with AI digital textbook IaaS utilization
With this certification, Elice, Inc. will be able to participate in various cloud projects promoted by the government and public organizations and provide cloud services with proven safety and reliability. First, the company plans to build a stable educational infrastructure environment by introducing CSAP-certified IaaS to the AI digital textbook development project, which is an essential requirement.
Edge data center efficiently scales with AI demand and prevents data leakage
Elice Cloud provides AI-specific cloud solutions based on the Elice AI Portable Modular Data Center (PMDC). The Elice AI PMDC is composed of modular units that can be physically isolated, enabling efficient expansion as AI demand changes, and dozens of PMDCs can be connected to operate an AI cluster if necessary. The private cloud environment also protects sensitive data from external leakage.
Prior to acquiring CSAP IaaS, Elice, Inc. was recognized by authoritative organizations for its global security capabilities across AI solutions by obtaining the CSAP SaaS standard rating and international information security certifications ISO27001 and ISO27701 last year.

Elice Cloud Releases Open-Source AI Ecosystem Optimization Solution
Easily Develop Open-Source AI Models in Customized AI Infrastructure Utilizing Latest GPU and NPU
Elice Cloud, the AI-specialized cloud service by Elice, Inc. (CEO Kim Jae-won), has unveiled a solution that allows various general-purpose AI models, including open-source models, to be used safely and conveniently in a cloud environment.
Elice Cloud has upgraded its existing ML API features, introducing an ‘ML API Library’ function that enables the use of open-source AI models in customized AI infrastructure. The key feature of this upgrade is providing an optimized GPU and NPU environment that allows easy use of various open-source AI models without additional installation or configuration.
Unlike API-based solutions for commercial AI models, open-source AI models require environment configuration depending on the specific model and often need fine-tuning for desired tasks. To address these challenges, Elice Cloud provides GPU and NPU environments optimized for each open-source model, along with customized APIs. Users can easily develop, manage, and deploy AI chatbots and other applications in high-performance AI infrastructure tailored to various models, including open-source models like Deep Seek R1 and Meta’s Llama. The service also offers high-performance computing services utilizing the latest NPUs from Furiosa AI and Rebellion.
Executed in a private cloud environment based on the Elice AI PMDC (Portable Modular Data Center), the solution prevents external leakage of sensitive data. The Elice AI PMDC can be configured in modular units, allowing physical isolation, agile response to AI demand changes, and achieving an impressive Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.27.
Will Strengthen AI Infrastructure Competitiveness with Largest Domestic High-Performance GPU AI PMDC
Elice Cloud aims to design and construct 1MW-class AI PMDCs this year. To stably manage high-density power and heat, the infrastructure incorporates space optimization design and Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) technology. It is designed to perfectly support the latest high-performance GPUs like NVIDIA B100, with a rack power capacity of 160kW, which is industry leading.
CEO Kim Jae-won of Elice, Inc. stated, “We have designed and built an AI PMDC that can accommodate up to 5,000 high-performance H100 GPUs, which is expected to be the largest scale among domestic cloud companies.
