Presents AI acceleration strategies centered around Elice AI PMDC at ‘Elice IMPACT: Empowering AI’
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, AI education solution company Elice, Inc. (CEO Jae Won Kim) aims to accelerate the construction of AI infrastructure centered on its modular data center ‘Elice AI PMDC’ to maximize AI competitiveness for domestic and international enterprises, schools, and government agencies under the slogan ‘Empowering AI’.
At a press conference titled ‘Elice IMPACT: Empowering AI’ held in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 28th, Elice, Inc. introduced the Elice AI ecosystem, which will leverage synergies based on the Elice AI PMDC.
Elice, Inc. CEO Jae Won Kim, as the presenter, explained, “The adoption of generative AI is rapidly increasing in government, enterprises, and schools, and the demand for quality AI education is growing quickly. To meet these needs, Elice, Inc. has structured an AI ecosystem where AI infrastructure, platforms, models, and content are organically connected.”
Introducing AI PMDC Business Models Tailored to Enterprise Demand, Including NVIDIA’s Latest GPU B200
The high-performance GPU and NPU service ‘Elice Cloud’ based on AI PMDC has been actively utilized by numerous startups and university research facilities since its launch in 2023, and it was recognized last year as an excellent CSP company for its contribution to revitalizing the domestic SaaS industry.
Starting this year, Elice, Inc. plans to lead enterprise AI adoption by adding a business model that provides customized AI cloud as an integrated IaaS service, including AI PMDC, servers, and AI cloud platforms. Depending on the demand of each enterprise seeking to adopt AI, it offers customized AI PMDCs that can be equipped with the latest NVIDIA GPUs B200, H200, and domestic NPUs. These can be designed and constructed within approximately four months and offer cloud services to clients, making them useful for companies looking to adopt AI quickly and efficiently.
CEO Jae Won Kim emphasized, “We will target the public sector, which faces difficulties in utilizing AI due to concerns about security and safety, by centralizing our efforts on high-security AI PMDCs.” Elice, Inc. obtained the CSAP SaaS standard grade and international information security certifications ISO27001 and 27701 last year, and in February this year, it became the first to acquire CSAP IaaS certification with AI PMDC. This proves its domestic and international reliability regarding security and paves the way for expansion into various sectors of domestic enterprises and public fields, including education, finance, and healthcare.
Moreover, as a modular data center that can be physically isolated, AI PMDC can safely protect sensitive data in public education and technology-based industries. Elice, Inc. intends to expand its presence in the public education cloud business, starting with the introduction of infrastructure for the developing AI digital textbook.
AI Model Library and Korean-Specific AI Model Optimized for Domestic Enterprise AI Adoption
The AI model library allows the use of various world-class AI models with one click, without separate installation. By providing diverse AI functions such as large language models (LLM), visual question answering (VQA), and text-to-speech (TTS) as application program interfaces (APIs), it reduces development burdens for companies pursuing AI transformation.
Elice, Inc. also unveiled four new generative AI models: △Helpy Edu △Helpy Pro △Helpy Reasoning △Helpy-V Reasoning. ‘Helpy Edu’ is a text LLM optimized for educational environments, providing safe and reliable responses with hallucination suppression and profanity filter functions. ‘Helpy Pro’ is a general-purpose text LLM for business purposes, with strengths in Korean context understanding and mixed language processing in English and Korean. ‘Helpy Reasoning’ is a deep reasoning text LLM excellent at solving logical problems and math puzzles.
‘Helpy-V Reasoning’ is a multimodal VQA model capable of understanding and responding to various images. It achieved the world’s best performance in the benchmark of multilingual text-centric VQA (MTVQA) in Korean and Vietnamese, a task considered highly challenging. It also recorded high performance exceeding global big tech AI models in other languages.
The advanced AI models developed by Elice, Inc. are currently creating innovation cases in the public education sector. A representative example is a multi-agent safe AI chatbot composed of a profanity moderator, fact-checker, and tone modification agent considering student age groups. This model has acquired knowledge of Korean history and culture from the National Institute of Korean History and is currently applied as an AI chatbot in the middle school information AI digital textbook developed and certified by Elice, Inc.
CEO Jae Won Kim of Elice, Inc. stated at the press conference, “We have developed AI PMDC based on industry-leading technologies such as high-density power efficiency, liquid cooling technology for heat management, and robust security performance, and we have organized this event to introduce this as a new business model.” He added, “For companies hoping for a rapid and efficient AI transformation, adopting Elice AI PMDC, including the first-in-Korea NVIDIA B200 AI PMDC, is the best choice, and we look forward to many inquiries.” Additionally, he noted, “In the AI era, we aim to lead AI transformation across all public and enterprise domains, contributing to the formation of the domestic AI ecosystem and enhancing national industrial competitiveness.”
