2023 "One-Team, Elice" Workshop

We had the ‘One Team’ workshop for a bigger leap and growth in 2024!

Escaping the city to breathe in the fresh air of Pyeongchang and spending precious time with colleagues,

Over 2 nights and 3 days, engaging in 5 activities to get to know each other, bond, and share new missions and values for Elice in preparation for 2024 :)

Shall we take a peek into the Elice workshop under the theme of ‘One Team’ and see how the time was spent together?

Day 1. Opening

Elice teammates gathered in Pyeongchang, leaving their busy routines behind!

Elice’s eternal MC, Hyowon from the People Team, kicked off the workshop’s opening, presenting a drama enthusiastically performed by Elice members. 📹

Through various episodes of the drama, “One Team, Elice” Workshop, we could feel the inevitable reasons why we had to gather like this :)

Following that, there was an opening greeting by Jaewon, along with an introduction to the limited-edition workshop items.

Shall we take a closer look at the limited-edition goods from the workshop?

Day 1. Workshop Limited Edition Items

“Hello, Wonder!” Welcoming the newcomers to the wonderful Elice, now, “Beyond Wonder!” We created hoodies with the theme of wondering what lies beyond our wonder. Our new vision is also ingeniously incorporated :)

Reusable cups, handkerchiefs, and message cards adorably feature the developer version of HelloBit. 😍 Additionally, Elice’s core values are beautifully engraved on each items!

Looking around now, seeing the workshop goods placed on desks by Elice members, it brings back fond memories :)

And the highlight item of this workshop! We prepared single-use film cameras so everyone could capture their memories over the 2 nights and 3 days. After the workshop, the photos will be developed and an event to select the Best Shot and design a top frame was held. 📸

During the workshop’s limited time, we also unveiled an Instagram selfie frame for everyone to take photos with the “One Team, Elice” Workshop concept. 🤳🏻

So, with everyone wearing the workshop hoodies, holding cameras, and using handkerchiefs as fashion items, we were all ready to enjoy the workshop!

Day 1. Elice Band

Right after, Elice Band took the stage and livened up the atmosphere!

The proud Elice Band, practicing for three months for the workshop! They not only performed three songs but also an encore, igniting a passionate heat. ❤️‍🔥

Day 1. Recreation

Thanks to Elice Band, the atmosphere heated up, and immediately after, along with a professional MC, we began the “Elice, Let’s Get Closer!” recreation.

Mixing teams made some faces seem awkward here and there, but the moment the games started, everyone’s expressions changed! Holding hands, cheering to score points, and even dancing?! We saw Elice members’ competitive spirits in new ways. 🤭

Truthfully, while planning this recreation, I worried if the reserved Elice members would enjoy it. But my concerns were unnecessary… many enthusiastically took the stage, singing and dancing, leaving a deep impression 😆

Day 2. Roller Coaster Team-Building

The first day ended like a festival, and the second day, considered the highlight of the workshop, dawned. 🌅
The second day consisted of three activity sessions, each focused on cooperation, vision, and core values under the theme.

In the first activity, team members took on different roles, collaborating as one team to create a highly efficient roller coaster. Setting our team’s goal, defining the core values to achieve it, and efficiently communicating and collaborating based on these were the steps toward creating a unique roller coaster.

We then had time to promote our team’s roller coaster and also explore others’. Some worked perfectly, some didn’t, but the fact that each team created a roller coaster with the goal of ‘growing together as One Team’ was the most precious aspect of the activity. It’s thrilling to recall it again :)

Day 2. Expressing Vision through Neon Signs

For the second activity, original teams gathered to establish our team’s vision under Elice’s new vision and expressed it through neon signs.

Focusing more on the two main streams of Global and AI from next year, Elice envisioned creating value as a global team by aiding digital transformations in various industries through our AI solutions and advancing as a country proficient in utilizing AI, aligning with Elice’s new vision.

To pursue Elice’s new vision, we presented and shared each team’s vision.

It was a joyous time seeing the unique neon signs representing each team’s distinct vision. As each team strives towards their defined vision, there was a palpable excitement, envisioning Elice leading the AI era as a global One Team. :)

Day 2. Building Our Goals through Figures

In the third activity, we drew figures representing our goals.

Choosing Elice’s core values important to each of us, imagining the future when we uphold those values, and sharing our goals while motivating and supporting each other in our dreams - it was a time for Elice members gathered to ‘grow’ to be each other’s support. 🥰

And the most surprising thing during this activity was… that every Elice member is a design genius!
Even though coloring the figures might seem easy, it’s definitely not, yet everyone swiftly drew, colored, and created figures that could be sold. It was impressive! 👍🏻

After conducting three consecutive activities, despite getting tired, everyone stayed energetic until the end!
We wrapped it up with a dinner gathering, lighting up the final night! AI, AI, AI! as One Global Team! 🔥

Day 3. Director Yang Jae-jin’s Lecture

Though it wasn’t over until it was over, the third day dawned 🙂

As it was the last day, we invited Director Yang Jae-jin to provide a healing session for tired Elice members. As a specialist in psychiatry, Director Yang delivered a lecture on ‘Stress and Me’ for hardworking Elice members. 👍🏻

He shared the idea that to understand others, we must first understand ourselves and provided insights on how to encounter and handle stress psychologically. It was a mystical and meaningful lecture. Apparently, it also scored the highest satisfaction in the workshop’s feedback survey. 🤭

Day 3. Closing

Lastly, along with Jaewon’s closing remarks, we ended the workshop by watching heartfelt video messages from Elice members through the ‘Room of Sincere Messages’ prepared in the studio before the workshop.

Over 2 nights and 3 days, we got to know each other better, shared new missions, vision, and core values, getting one step closer to ‘One Team.’ It was a journey where mature Elice members, respecting each other’s diversity, united in heart towards a common goal. Here’s to supporting the passion and dreams of Elice members who create innovations in technology and education, making our world a better place! Elice, fighting!!
