Elice Cloud Experiences Over 9-Fold Growth in Institutions Using Latest GPUs and Domestic NPUs in Just Six Months

More than 50% monthly average growth in institutions using the service this year; user count increased by approximately 74-fold in 21 months

The number of institutions using Elice Cloud, the AI-specialized cloud solution from AI education solution company Elice, Inc. (CEO Jae Won Kim), has grown more than ninefold. This achievement was made in just six months, from November last year to May this year.

Elice Cloud is an AI-specialized cloud that provides both high-performance GPUs and NPUs. It has been actively utilized by numerous startups and AI research labs, with a significant increase in corporate and university clients since the latter half of last year.

In particular, inquiries about adopting Elice Cloud have increased since March, when new projects and academic terms typically begin, resulting in a steep rise in the number of institutions using the platform. The monthly average growth rate from March to May this year exceeded 50%. This is a result of establishing a one-stop AI cloud solution that allows for AI data management, project execution, AI model development, and deployment. Additionally, Elice Cloud’s security capabilities were proven by acquiring the cloud security certification CSAP IaaS in March this year, attracting interest not only from public institutions where CSAP is mandatory but also from companies prioritizing data security.

Usability, price competitiveness, and security allowing for AI model research and deployment in one place

The number of Elice Cloud users also achieved remarkable growth, increasing approximately 74-fold in just 21 months, from June 2023 to March 2025. This success is attributed to offering various AI-specialized services that enhance convenience for customers who wish to adopt AI but find it challenging to utilize AI models. Reflecting the growing interest in AI models, Elice introduced an optimized ‘ML API Library’ function in February, allowing convenient use of various general-purpose AI models, including open source, without additional installation.

The most significant benefit perceived by customers is the reasonable pricing, which is Elice Cloud’s unique competitive advantage. Users can save more than 77% in costs when using Elice Cloud under the same conditions as global cloud services. This is made possible by offering an AI-specialized cloud solution using cloud infrastructure developed with Elice’s proprietary technology.

Elice also provides solutions optimized for NPUs to efficiently operate AI models. As a CSP capable of providing both high-performance GPUs and NPUs specialized for AI, Elice has secured domestically developed GPU and NPU cloud technology.
