Maximizing AI Efficiency with Eco-Friendly Direct Liquid Cooling and High-Density Design

Elice Inc., an AI solutions company, has built Asia’s first AI PMDC (Portable Modular Data Center) adopting Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) technology and is providing high-performance GPU B200 resources. The company plans to support not only government-led AI projects but also leverage this infrastructure as a core foundation for AI model training in various industries such as healthcare, finance, and education.

The newly developed DLC-based AI PMDC by Elice is optimized for operating high-performance GPUs through a high-density, high-efficiency design. With 256 GPUs densely integrated within a single space, the system delivers enhanced performance and efficiency within the same footprint.
Unlike traditional air cooling, the DLC system uses liquid to dissipate heat, enabling effective thermal management of high-performance GPUs while improving energy efficiency, reducing noise, and ensuring environmentally friendly and stable operations.

In particular, the modular and portable design of the AI PMDC eliminates the need for traditional building construction, significantly shortening the period from design to operation and allowing rapid response to evolving AI technologies and demands. While conventional data centers typically require around three years to complete, Elice’s AI PMDC can be built in less than three months, enabling swift AI infrastructure expansion.

To supply high-performance GPUs for the Ministry of Science and ICT’s ‘AI Specialized Foundation Model’ project

Recognized for its technological excellence and cost competitiveness in AI infrastructure, Elice was selected in the second half of this year as an official GPU supplier for government-led AI initiatives under the Ministry of Science and ICT(MSIT). Among several major domestic tech companies participating as GPU providers, Elice is the only small-to-medium-sized enterprise selected, demonstrating its innovative AI technology and business execution capabilities.

Starting in November, Elice will provide high-performance GPU resources through its DLC-based AI PMDC cluster equipped with 512 GPU B200 units, supporting companies selected for the MSIT’s “AI Specialized Foundation Model Project.”
