Elice Inc. Registers Trademark for Modular AI Data Center ‘PMDC’

Strengthening PMDC Brand Competitiveness Based on 5 Years of Accumulated Technological Expertise Since In-House Design in 2021

Elice Inc. (CEO Jae Won Kim), an AI full-stack company providing AI infrastructure, cloud, and industry-specific solutions, has completed trademark registration for its internally developed modular AI data center ‘PMDC’.

Elice Inc. completed trademark registration for ‘PMDC’ on September 17 (Trademark Registration No. 40-2596074). Taking this opportunity, the company plans to further strengthen the technological capabilities and brand competitiveness of ‘Elice PMDC™’, which have been accumulated over the past 5 years.

Elice Inc. has been developing and operating modular AI data centers designed in-house in 2021 by applying the name ‘PMDC’. Elice PMDC is Elice Inc.’s data center solution where key facilities such as servers, power, cooling, and networking are pre-fabricated in a factory and rapidly constructed at sites where power and land are secured. Technologies related to responding to heat from high-performance GPUs, such as Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) and warm water cooling, are also being continuously advanced.

Expanding Domestic and International AI Infrastructure Business by Combining PMDC with AI Cloud SW

In addition, by combining PMDC with its independently developed AI cloud software ‘ECI’, the company has secured integrated AI cloud infrastructure capabilities encompassing data center construction, GPU cluster operation, and management. Actual application cases, such as the edge AI data center currently being constructed in the Busan manufacturing industrial complex, are also steadily increasing.

Elice Inc. will accelerate its entry into overseas markets along with the expansion of domestic AI infrastructure based on PMDC. The company also plans to promote a business model that supplies AI computing resources produced in Korea to the global market by combining modular AI data centers with cloud operation technology.
