Leveraging National GPU Leasing Project Experience and End-to-End AI Cloud Capabilities to Provide AI Research Infrastructure
AI full-stack company Elice Inc. (CEO Jae Won Kim), providing AI infrastructure, cloud, and industry-specific solutions, has been selected as a GPU resource supplier for domestic academic and industrial researchers under the “2026 AI Research Computing Support Project” supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP).
With a total project budget of KRW 15.3 billion, the supplier will provide cloud-based, high-performance GPU infrastructure and an optimal research environment enabling researchers at domestic research institutes and universities to conduct research and development on hyper-scale AI models and generative AI.
Strength in ‘Full-Lifecycle Integrated Support System’ Covering High-Performance AI Infrastructure Supply, Development Environment, and Technical & Administrative Support
In the supplier selection bidding, Elice Inc. was chosen as one of multiple successful bidders amid competition from global and major cloud providers. Drawing on experience from large-scale national GPU leasing projects, Elice Inc. proposed an integrated operational framework spanning the entire lifecycle: △ provision of high-performance computing resources, △ AI training and development environment support, and △ operation and technical support.
Furthermore, Elice Inc. delivers its proprietary End-to-End AI Cloud—built in-house from Modular AI Data Centers (AI PMDC) and Cloud Infrastructure Virtualization (ECI) to AI Development Environment (Runbox), Data Management (DataHub), and Model Deployment (ML API). This allows researchers to immediately utilize high-performance GPU resources for advanced AI model research without infrastructure setup or compatibility concerns.
From July this year through March next year, Elice Inc. will stably supply the high-performance GPU resources essential for hyper-scale AI research, while supporting cluster configurations that interconnect multiple GPUs via high-speed networks.
