Elice Leads Manufacturing AX with Modular AI Data Centers and Specialized AI Models Unveils Physical AI Strategy at AW 2026

Presents a “full-stack AX reference” combining on-premise AI infrastructure and intelligent solutions

Elice Inc., an AI full-stack company providing AI infrastructure, cloud, and industry-specific solutions, showcased its core strategies and solutions for Manufacturing AX at “Smart Factory + Automation World 2026 (Automation World 2026, AW 2026)”, held at COEX from March 4 to 6.

During the exhibition, Elice operated a booth in the “AI Factory Special Pavilion,” where it highlighted the “Elice AI PMDC (Portable Modular Data Center),” a modular data center that supports AI transformation in manufacturing sites, and “Elice IDP (Intelligent Document Processing),” its document intelligence solution. By combining on-premise AI data centers with document intelligence, Elice presented a full-stack AX reference that organically connects manufacturing-site data with AI infrastructure and services.

The Elice AI PMDC, which drew particular attention at the show, is a modular data center that can be deployed in an on-premise form optimized for security and flexibly scaled and configured to match factory size and requirements. By locating AI infrastructure close to manufacturing sites in an edge/on-premise architecture, Elice AI PMDC enables manufacturers to secure both the security of process data and real-time processing performance.

Also featured was Elice IDP, a solution based on VLM (Vision-Language Model) technology that converts complex process documents and unstructured data into analyzable, digital data in real time. Representatives from manufacturing and construction companies visiting the booth showed strong interest in Elice’s ability to transform manual, paper-centric document management processes into AI-driven data assets.

In addition to its exhibition, Elice participated in the Industrial Intelligence Conference to share its future vision for Manufacturing AX. In a session on “Commercialization Strategies for Manufacturing AX,” the company examined the current challenges facing the manufacturing sector and proposed a physical AI implementation strategy that combines real-world physical environments with AI through modular data centers.

At the “AI Factory Seminar” held on the 5th, Elice delivered a presentation titled “From Data to Action: Harnessing Agentic AI,” emphasizing the importance of agentic AI—AI systems capable of autonomously pursuing goals and taking actions. The presentation highlighted Elice’s core technical strengths, noting that only when next-generation AI infrastructure with strong resilience and scalability is in place can truly intelligent AI be realized on the manufacturing floor, capable of making its own decisions and taking action.

This year’s AW 2026, held on the largest scale in its history, was co-hosted by COEX and the Korea Association of Industrial Intelligence, among others. The event brought together more than 500 companies from 24 countries to showcase and share the latest technologies in Manufacturing AX.
