Participated in ITU-hosted global summit, showcasing ‘AI Helpy for AI Textbooks’ as a model for safe and trustworthy AI in public education

AI education solution company Elice, Inc. participated in the AI for Good Global Summit 2025, held in Geneva, Switzerland from July 8 to 11 (local time), where it introduced its solution ‘AI Helpy for AI Textbooks’ to AI experts and policymakers from around the world.

Hosted by the ITU, a UN agency, the AI for Good Global Summit is a forum where governments, public institutions, and corporations gather to explore how innovative AI technologies can address global social challenges.

Elice’s ‘AI Helpy for AI Textbooks’ was selected as an outstanding AI use case in ITU’s ‘Innovate for Impact AI Use Case’ program. On July 9, at the “Innovate for Impact: The Winning AI Use Case” workshop, Elice, Inc. CEO Jae Won Kim presented the AI Helpy solution for AI textbooks.

AI Helpy for AI Textbooks is a multi-agent safety AI chatbot equipped with features such as a moderator to prevent inappropriate language, a fact-checker, hallucination prevention, and tone adjustment agents that adapt to students’ age groups. It incorporates knowledge from Korea’s National Institute of Korean History and Korean cultural content to provide a safe and reliable AI education environment in public schools. The solution passed national curriculum review last year and has been implemented in middle school AI digital textbooks since the first semester of this year.

Demonstrated strong student data protection using CSAP-certified AI PMDC infrastructure

Furthermore, based on Elice’s AI PMDC, which has obtained CSAP IaaS (Korean cloud security certification), the system ensures strict protection of student data. The AI PMDC is a modular data center that can scale based on demand and offers physical isolation, making it suitable for global deployment in AI educational environments.

Elice has also been selected as an official partner in ITU’s AI Skills Coalition, a global education platform led by ITU and the UN to develop and distribute various AI learning materials. Elice plans to contribute by developing AI education content that enhances global AI competencies.

CEO Jae Won Kim stated,

“It is a meaningful achievement that ‘AI Helpy for AI Textbooks,’ which is already transforming public AI education in Korea, has been recognized as a leading example by global AI experts. This highlights not only our technological capabilities but also the societal impact of our AI solutions on a global scale. We hope that continued government support will allow AI Helpy to keep providing safe, trustworthy learning environments for students and help teachers work more efficiently, both in Korea and internationally.”
